Thijs joined in 2026 as Partner in Forbion's Investor Relations team, where he focuses on fundraising, investor relations, and strategic engagement with the firm's global investor base.
Prior to joining Forbion, Thijs spent nine years at CVC DIF, most recently as Managing Director Investor Relations, where he co-led investor relations activities and managed relationships with institutional investors across Europe, North America, Asia, and the Middle East. In this role, he was responsible for fundraising across multiple private market strategies and worked closely with pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, consultants, and family offices.
Earlier in his career, Thijs worked at Van Lanschot Kempen, advising clients on equity capital markets and corporate finance transactions, while also contributing to strategic projects at the group level.
Thijs brings nearly two decades of experience across corporate finance, capital markets, fundraising, and investor relations. He holds Master's degrees from Rotterdam School of Management and Utrecht University.
