Sarah Neshat is a Senior Analyst at Forbion, based in Boston.
Prior to Forbion, she was an Associate at RA Capital, where she helped lead due diligence for public and private biotech investments spanning I&I, oncology, and rare diseases while supporting company-building efforts.
Earlier in her career, she worked closely with Baltimore-based Blackbird Labs on early venture creation and incubation. Sarah earned her PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, with a focus on non-viral gene therapy and immunomodulation platforms for oncology and autoimmune applications. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Northeastern University where she completed internships at Novartis, Vlaams Instituut voor Biotechnologie (VIB), and Terrestrial Bio.
