Meike joined Forbion in 2026 as a Principal in the Naarden office, contributing to building and managing the portfolio across therapeutic areas and modalities.
Prior to joining Forbion, Meike was a co-founder of Merida Biosciences, a biotechnology company she helped incubate while a Senior Associate at Third Rock Ventures. Over four years, she helped build the company from its earliest stages, serving as program team lead for its first program, now in clinical development, and overseeing discovery research.
Meike holds a PhD in oncoimmunology from the Netherlands Cancer Institute and Leiden University. She also holds an M.Sc. in Cancer, Stem Cells and Developmental Biology from Utrecht University, and a B.Sc. from University College Utrecht.
