This is a special event held in conjunction with the Cambridge Judge Business School at the University campus in Cambridge. Following a close partnership with the Judge Business School, this event, "Smart Capital, Leveraged Science: How VCs Unlock Biotech Potential" brought together influential leaders from biotech, venture capital, and institutional investment for a timely and thought-provoking discussion on the future of life sciences innovation.

The panel features Sander Slootweg, Managing Partner at Forbion; Nektarios (Aris) Oraiopoulos, Professor at Cambridge Judge Business School; Mihriban Tuna, CEO of Immutrin; and Carmine Circelli, Director of Direct Investments (Life Sciences) at the British Business Bank. Together, they unpack the art and discipline behind building transformative biotech companies—from early-stage due diligence to syndication dynamics and scaling strategies within Europe’s complex ecosystem.

We also took this opportunity to close the curtain on Season One of The Biotech Pulse and proudly present this special event as our Season One finale. The full audio is also available on all major platforms.
