Baris Duvan joined Forbion as Senior Paralegal in February 2026, and is responsible for investor and fund lifecycle management and corporate housekeeping across the Forbion, BGV, and First platforms.
Baris supports fund governance, regulatory and transactional processes, and key stakeholder coordination.
Before joining Forbion, Baris was a transaction lawyer in the Banking & Finance department of Loyens & Loeff N.V. where he advised private equity sponsors, their portfolio companies and financial institutions in a wide range of national and international financing transactions. Baris’ experience includes asset financings, leveraged acquisition financings and fund-level financings.
Baris holds a bachelor’s degree in law from VU Amsterdam with additional academic experience at Erasmus University Rotterdam, the University of Groningen and the University of Amsterdam.
