Wilfred joined Forbion in 2025 as Chief Accounting Officer, where he is responsible for overseeing all finance, accounting, and reporting activities across the firm. In addition to his role at Forbion, he serves as a part-time lecturer in Financial Reporting at the University of Groningen.
Prior to joining Forbion, Wilfred was a Partner and Head of Pensions within the audit practice at KPMG. In this capacity, he gained substantial experience in auditing and advising institutional asset managers, private equity firms, and pension funds. He held various roles at KPMG between 2008 and 2025, and was appointed Partner in 2019.
Wilfred holds a Master’s degree in Accountancy & Controlling, as well as a Postgraduate degree in Accountancy, both from the University of Groningen.
