Naarden, The Netherlands, 24 June, 2026 - Forbion, a leading global life sciences venture capital firm with deep roots in Europe, announces its participation in RQ Bio’s oversubscribed $115 million (£85.5 million) Series A financing to support the advancement of RQB01, a long-acting antibody programme designed for full-season influenza prevention.
Financing was led by Frazier Life Sciences with participation from new investors EQT Life Sciences, Forbion, Monograph, Wellington Management and founding investor LifeArc Ventures, alongside Oxford Science Enterprises and the University of Oxford.
The proceeds will support the clinical development of RQB01, which is currently in IND-enabling studies and is designed to provide seasonal influenza protection through a single administration.
