Joost joined Forbion in 2026 as Investor Relations Director, where he focuses on fundraising and LP engagement across the firm’s strategies.
Prior to joining Forbion, Joost was Principal, Investor Relations and Capital Markets at Just Eat Takeaway.com, a €4bn+ publicly listed technology company. In this role, he led equity story development, market communications, and capital markets transactions totalling several billion euros, while managing relationships with more than 400 institutional investors.
Earlier in his career, Joost advised private equity firms on transactions and value creation at KPMG Global Strategy Group, and began in equity research at Van Lanschot Kempen Investment Banking.
Joost brings experience across public markets, private equity, and venture capital, with a focus on investor engagement, capital allocation, and long-term value positioning. He holds an MSc in Finance from Tilburg University.
