Forbion BioEconomy Fund I

Forbion BioEconomy Fund I leverages Forbion’s biotech expertise from human healthcare into planetary health solutions. We back innovations that aim for scalability, cost-competitiveness, and real environmental impact, addressing urgent challenges like sustainable food systems and industrial decarbonization.

The fund focuses on companies that replace unsustainable products with scalable, cost-effective alternatives with a business-to-business (B2B) model. A key pillar of the fund’s strategy is ensuring innovations achieve price parity with incumbent solutions, enabling wide-scale adoption across the fund’s four target sectors: Food, Agriculture, Materials, and Environmental Technologies.
